2021 Dirty Pumpkin Run
Benefiting Bryana Wallace's Children's Hospital Christmas Toy Drive!
Sponsored by Libby's Pumpkin Patch and Bryana Wallace
A little about Bryana Wallace...
Bryana is a 2021 graduate of Alexander High School and is currently a sophomore at Ohio University in the Nursing Program. In 2019 she was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma and went through about 4 months of chemotherapy before being told she was cancer free! She is in many organizations through OU that bring awareness to childhood cancer and raise funds for research. After ringing the bell at Nationwide Children's in November 2019 she decided she wanted to do something that would give back to the hospital that saved her life. Having experienced staying in the hospital, she decided that from then on she would donate toys to give to children who had to stay at Nationwide during Christmas. She was able to donate a few toys the first year and many more last year thanks to the help of the community. |
We are so grateful that Bryana is now healthy and has helped plan and organize this years pumpkin run! Libby's Pumpkin Patch held their first Dirty Pumpkin Run in 2019 and the proceeds were donated to the Wallace family to help with their medical expenses. Half of the proceeds from this years race will go towards buying toys for Nationwide Children's Hospital Christmas Toy Drive. We are so proud of Bryana's commitment to helping others and willingness to give back to the community and those in need.
Registration is available until November 5. Race T-shirts are not included with the event entrance fee. T-shirts can be purchased during the registration process until October 22.
